Follow these steps:-

• Login into your Facebook Account.
• First click on Account< Account settings
• Search for the username field and Click on Edit option.
• In the box provided, Type the username of your choice while the facebook server will check that the username is available or not. 
• If your username is set and it is available, then click on Save Changes.
